Borrowing Wisely:  Making Smart Decisions Today for a Financially Healthier Tomorrow! Kim Siwarski, Education Services Manager of Access Group, will be hosting a workshop on Debt Counseling for 1L students on Thursday, March 23rd at 12:00 p.m. in Wade Auditorium. In the midst of a rigorous law degree, it can be easy to put financial decisions off until later. What you borrow to finance your education today can have a significant impact on your financial well-being. Presented by Access Group, a nonprofit financial education provider, this workshop will help you to be a savvy borrower, making smart borrowing decisions today for a financially healthier tomorrow.

The workshop is mandatory for 1L students and attendance will be taken, but if you do not have any student loans (law school or otherwise) and don’t anticipate taking out any student loans while you are in school, please contact Dean Aden ASAP to request permission to miss the session.

If you have an unavoidable conflict for this workshop, please contact Dean Aden prior to missing the workshop.
