1L’s LEARN HOW TO RECEIVE CREDIT FOR ALL 40 HOURS OF PRO BONO NEEDED FOR GRADUATION IN ONE WEEK!

1L’S want to receive CREDIT FOR ALL 40 HOURS OF PRO BONO NEEDED FOR GRADUATION IN ONE WEEK! Alternative Spring Break or ASB is next semester and PALS is taking applications to be a Junior Track Leader. In most tracks the time commitment is minimal before spring break, and during Spring Break you will have your first chance to actually help real clients or become published. ASB has eight tracks this year: Criminal Law, Juvenile Law, Family Law, Health Law, Elder Law, Veteran’s Law, Immigration Law and Research and Writing. In each of these tracks there is a supervising attorney, under which serves a Track Leader who leads a 1L Junior Track Leader, who together lead a group of law students. These Junior Track Leaders get priority to lead tracks in their 2L or 3L year. Law Students come from around the country to participate in our ASB so we need good leaders. These positions are competitive (only 8 for your whole class) so apply early. Applications are on the PALS TWEN page so fill yours out and submit it electronically via email to Sarah Belchic at svblchic@memphis.edu no later than October 15th, 2017. Below are the track descriptions which are also found with the application on the TWEN page.
