REGISTRATION MEMO: Every student must read the Registration Memorandum

SCHEDULE & GRID: The most recent version of the Spring 2019 Course Schedule and Grid is available online.

EXAM CONFLICTS: Academic Regulation 10.1(b) states in part, “Unless students obtain the written permission of the Dean prior to registering, students may not register in courses which have conflicting examination schedules — i.e. where examinations are scheduled to be administered on the same day. . . .” To request a waiver, email Dean Wilson.

SCHEDULE FOR REGISTERING:

Related imageStudents registered with Veterans and Military Student Services may register on Monday, November 12 @ 8:00 a.m. 

  • Students with 43+ attempted hours* may register Tuesday, November 13 @ 9:00 a.m.
  • Students with 15-42 attempted hours* may register Thursday, November 15 @ 9:00 a.m.
  • Students with 0-14 attempted hours* may registerFriday, November 17 @ 9:00 a.m.
    • NOTE: 1L students are required to register themselves for spring 2019.  A blog post with instructions was posted today.  If you have questions, contact the Registrar, Cheryl Edwards.

*To find your attempted hours, look at your Academic Transcript in Self-Service Banner in myMemphis under your Student tab. Look for the column titled “Attempted Hours,” under your most recent COMPLETED semester. SEE BELOW FOR EXAMPLES.

PERMIT REQUIRED COURSES:  If you have been told you have a seat in a clinic, externship, simulation courses or seminar, the Registrar’s office will issue you a permit and notify you when to register for those courses.
