Judicial Internship This Summer for 1L or 2L

The Honorable Edward G. Bryant, Magistrate Judge for the United States District Court of Tennessee, Western District at Jackson, seeks a summer intern.  Intern must be able to be in Jackson at least 1-2 days per week. Anticipated start date June 1, 2018, with an end date before school starts back.  While this internship is unpaid, you can learn about the workings of federal court, gain a judge/former congressman as a reference, and earn your pro bono hours.  This chambers handles various matters, including but not limited to a large amount of social security appeals. There is a possibility you could earn academic credit, but only with the pre-approval of the law school.
