The Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) 1L Scholars Program is now accepting applications!!!
The Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) is now accepting applications for 2019 Scholars. The 1L Scholars Program gives law students the rare opportunity to work side-by-side with attorneys from LCLD Member organizations. Local LCLD member organizations include Baker Donelson and Bearman, Caldwell, & Berkowitz PC. The LCLD 1L Scholars program provides valuable professional experiences while introducing Scholars to the value of relationships and building networks with LCLD Members. Launched in 2011, the 1L LCLD Scholars Program has already put hundreds of young attorneys on a path to leadership through law school and beyond. LCLD Scholars have many additional benefits, including attendance at the 1L Scholars Summit in Atlanta, GA (June 4-6th), opportunity to participate in a mock interview with attorneys from LCLD Member law firms, and participation in a dedicated LinkedIn group for 1L LCLD Scholars. If you are interested in becoming a 1L LCLD Scholar, click here for instructions on how to apply. For more information about the 1L Scholars Program, contact Nancy Richardson, LCLD Program Manager.
The application deadline is February 15, 2019.
